At English Direct, our philosophy is simple: provide quality instructors, create quality students! We offer qualified, native English instructors for a personalised, professional and fun learning experience. All of our instructors have years of teaching experience and a university education. Many of our instructors have taught in both public and private institutions, as well as business settings. Whatever your level of English, from beginner to advanced, we have the right match for you.

 

How to get started

  • After a brief discussion of your goals by phone or email, we match you with a native English instructor that is best suited to your needs.
  • One of our instructors will then contact you and set up a time to meet. You will have a chance to talk and discuss your needs. (All of our instructos are bilingual Castellano/English).
  • During this meeting you decide where and when you would like to meet for classes. Most students prefer to have classes in their home, but other public settings close to work or the university are also available.

 

With so much disorganisation in the field of private English instruction, English Direct will make finding an English teacher quick and easy.

History of project

English Direct was founded in the summer of 2008 by Mr. Matthew Doyle and Ms. Kendra Coleman. Both had decided to organise a collective of American, Irish and English friends and fellow teachers into a group of qualified professors to give English classes in Barcelona. After a year of continuing success, English Direct has expanded and we have had the opportunity to meet some of the most kind and intelligent people in the city.
