We offer everything from private conversation classes to formal grammar classes. The levels of difficulty are beginner, intermediate and expert - and don't worry if you don't know which you are! More information can be found in the Services section.

The prices depend on the type and length of each class. Generally the classes are between 12 and 15 euros per hour. There are price discounts for multiple classes and groups.  Please see our Services section for more information.

That is your decision! We have found that most students prefer the convenience of meeting in their home. However, we are also able to give classes in public places near your work or university.

Note: English Direct provides the teachers and materials, but we do not offer our own learning center.

In a way, yes.

You may suggest certain qualities you are looking for and we will do our best to find our closest match. Although we cannot promise we have, for example, an Irish, 27 year old female university graduate from Dublin, we may have an instructor that has many of those characteristics. Not at all!

We are qualified to work with students of all ages and all levels. Although we admit learning a language is easier at a younger age, it is not impossible to learn English as an adult!

Note: We discourage parents from soliciting classes for children younger than 8 years old. We have found that this works best for both student and instructor.
